Sustainable Mobility in Poland and Switzerland

Efficient Public and Freight Transport Solutions that Benefit Urban and Suburban Development
3rd November 2020

Customer-friendly and sustainable transportation systems are crucial for the attractiveness of metropolitan areas: Efficient mobility solutions between urban areas and their agglomerations can stimulate the economic development of the periphery, thereby enhancing social cohesion and counteracting the rural-urban divide.

How can public and freight transport systems be made more efficient, customer-friendly and sustainable? Infrastructure is important, but it is not the only key ingredient. Investing in a dependable and convenient offer to commuters also has a significant impact. Shifting freight transport to intermodal solutions can help decrease pollution and congestion related to road traffic in metropolitan areas.

Let’s talk about sustainable mobility in Poland and Switzerland!
