The Ambassador of Switzerland, Jürg Burri, has been a Diplomat for 24 years. He was born 1965 in Switzerland. After studies, he became a journalist for Political affairs and also worked for two years in World fairs. After becoming a Diplomat, he mostly served in rapidly growing cities with huge public transportation issues, e.g. New York, Beijing, Warsaw. In his free time, he likes to walk and bike and observe public transportation without using it too much. However, when travelling between cities, he is an avid friend of fast trains. Numerous selfies together with trains on his social media make proof of that fact. One of his favorite sights in Warsaw is the Polish Train Museum. He’s been the Swiss Ambassador to Poland since Summer 2018.
